Composition
Decoction of dried horsetail leaves ( Equisetum arvense ) is 100% natural.
Horsetail decoction has been registered as a basic substance at European level since 2014 (Review Report SANCO/12386/2013 â rev. 7, dated July 20, 2017).
Specifications:
- Food grade horsetail leaves, product obtained after maceration and decoction in rainwater (20g/L).
- The concentration of active substance is 2g/L of product (horsetail decoction being a natural product, the values ââindicated may be subject to slight variations).
Horsetail decoction contains silica and minerals (calcium, cobalt, iron, magnesium, potassium, manganese, sodium, sulfur, copper, phosphorus).
Use of horsetail decoction
Fungicide recognized on a certain number of targets.
Apply preventively (before primary contamination) for greater effectiveness.
Instructions for use
Foliar and/or ground spray throughout the year, except in case of frost.
Water pH : recommended between 6 and 7 for optimal treatment efficiency. Our macerations have a pH around 6: if necessary, adjust your slurry pH with
10% vinegar.

In case of very high risk, it is recommended to reduce the treatment intervals by 7 to 10 days.
Horsetail decoction is compatible with most treatments and can therefore be applied in a mixture with biocontrol agents or authorized plant protection products. In the event of mixing, it is the user’s responsibility to respect all the precautions for use as well as the instructions for use mentioned by the manufacturer of each associated product. Mixtures must be implemented in accordance with the regulations in force. It is strongly recommended to carry out a physical compatibility test prior to any mixture.
Precautions for use
Avoid contact with skin and eyes, wearing goggles and gloves recommended. Do not swallow.
Wash hands after use.
Storage
Natural product without preservatives or sulphites. Store in the original packaging away from light and humidity. Keep at temperatures between +5°C and +35°C, out of reach of children and away from food and drink, including those of animals. Dispose of the container in accordance with the sorting instructions.
Plant extracts may form a slight natural deposit, without affecting the quality of the product.
