Fungal Chitosan is a biopolymer extracted from the cell walls of Aspergillus niger’s mycelium.

Linear polycationic polysaccharide composed of β-D-glucosamine and N-acetyl-D-glucosamine Poly(4-0-(2acetamido-2deoxy-b-d-
glucopyranosyl)-2-amino-2-deoxy-b-d-glucopyranose).618-480-0(EC).

Use of chitoprotect chitosane

CHITOPROTECT CHITOSANE is used as preventive or curative: The sooner it is applied before the contamination, the more efficient it will be. In case of high risk, it is ecommended to reduce the treatment interval to 10 days. For a curative application, the recommended dose per hectare can be doubled.
CHITOPROTECT CHITOSANE is compatible with most of the treatment and thus can be applied in mixture with biocontrol agents or authorised plant protection products except those based on copper. In case of mixture, the user is responsible for respecting all the precautions for use and the use instructions mentioned on the labels and the use instructions provided by the manufacturer of each product. The mixtures must be used in accordance with the applicable regulations. It is strongly recommended to perform a physical compatibility test prior to any mixing.

For the seeds : It is recommended to soak the seed in the CHITOPROTECT CHITOSANE solution during 2 to 5 minutes before the seeding.
For the planting: The roots need to be soaked during maximum 5 minutes.

Immersion, soaking of the fruits in a maximum volume of 2% in a very short time of a few seconds to a minute, then allow the fruits to dry in the air, which will bring a thin film to the surface of the fruit protecting them from pathogens and bacteria.
Precautions for use
Avoid any contact with the skin and the eyes, it is recommended to wear goggles and gloves. Do not swallow. Wash your hands after use.
Storage
Store in the original packaging away from light and moisture. Keep at temperatures between +5°C and +35°C, out of reach of children and away from food and beverages, including feed. Dispose of the container according to the sorting instructions.
